Dear guests

We would like to inform you about the conditions for bookings at the Schwert guest house. They are part of every booking unless not already stated.

General Terms and Conditions (GTC) Guest House Schwert
1. Scope of application of the conditions

The present general terms and conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts that are concluded with the Guest House Schwert, provided that they meet the characteristics of the GTC law. They can be replaced by conditions negotiated on a case-by-case basis. These terms and conditions are clearly and generally visible in the guesthouse and can also be viewed on the website of the Schwert guest house. They will be posted separately to the guest or client at their request. The subletting or re-letting of the rented rooms as well as their use for purposes other than accommodation require the prior written consent of the Guesthouse Schwert.

2. Booking

The accommodation contract is deemed to have been concluded when the provision of a room has been reserved by the guest by telephone or email and has been confirmed by us. With this contract, we commit ourselves to keep the rooms booked by the guest available and to provide the agreed services. If the guest house Schwert has justified reason to believe that the guest threatens the smooth business operations, or also the security of the house is in danger in the case of force majeure (e.g. fire, environmental disaster, etc.) and if other circumstances arise which are not the responsibility of the guest house Schwert and make it impossible to fulfill the contract, the guest house can cancel any reservation without being obliged to pay compensation or provide alternative accommodation. Unless otherwise agreed, the guest has no right to the provision of specific rooms.

3. Payment and prices

The entire invoice amount is due in cash on the day of arrival. Credit or debit cards are currently not yet accepted. In the event of an early departure (for whatever reason), the entire amount is due. Our current price list applies. A prospectus or internet liability is excluded. The prices can be changed by us if the guest wishes to change the number of booked rooms, the service, or the length of stay, but it must be before the start of the trip, and if we agree to this.

4. Cancellation conditions

A cancellation must generally be made in writing by email. If the booking is canceled by the customer between 30 and 15 days before arrival, no cancellation fees will be charged. A cancellation fee of 50% of the invoice amount is due between 15 and 5 days before arrival. If the cancellation is less than 5 days, a cancellation fee of 80% is due. The cancellation conditions are reduced by the amounts that are achieved by the guest house Schwert by subletting the canceled rooms on the reserved date. The stated cancellation fees also apply if the reserved services were only partially canceled by the guest, whereby the stated flat rates apply to the part of the services that was canceled. Also, if the guest does not use the reserved services without express cancellation.

In the event of Non-appearance 100% of the total invoice amount will be charged.

5. Arrival

Check in: the rooms are available from 4 p.m. Other arrival times are to be discussed with the guest house. Arrival and departure count as one day for the reservation, so the number of overnight stays counts.

Check out: On the agreed day of departure, the rooms in the guest house must be vacated and made available by 10 a.m.

6. Parking spaces

If a parking space is made available to the guest, this does not result in a custody contract. We are not liable for loss or damage in front of and on our property.

7. Prize

Es gelten unsere jeweils aktuellen Preislisten. Alle Zimmerpreise verstehen sich als reine Uebernachtungspreis plus Benützung der Gemeinschaftsküche ohne Zusatzleistung.

8. House rules

The house rules must be observed in full and are part of our terms and conditions of the GTC.
